About the ModelZ Book Project
ModelZ Books is the series title of a planned series of books being published by D. Taylor Publishing, a new publishing company. The company is also planning a few other series of books, mostly relating to Modeling or Photography but, with some aimed at the teen and schools markets. While the company is new, it has a firm 5 year plan that will see it grow and prosper while also being of great benefit to the participants in it's books. It is currently setting up the ModelZ Books e-commerce site to be able to sell our products ourselves while we also have agreements for distribution in place with the printer's e-commerce site as well as Amazon.Com. Our marketing representatives are also actively persuing additional distribution networks and sales locations.
The ModelZ Book Project is going to be a wide ranging series of books that showcase a wide variety of models, make up artists, hair stylists, photographers and more. While the core market for the first couple of books will be aimed at industry professionals, all of the books will be available to the general public as well. The vision for the series to to showcase the models who are NOT the "Supermodel" or "High Fashion" models. The models we are preferring are the everyday model who might be in a local runway show, an ad in the local newspaper or magazine, etc. and still be the one who checks you out at the supermarket, fills your prescriptions or is maybe the service technician at the local car dealership. The models we seek are new aspiring models up to the model who is working as a model on a regular basis but, still has to have a job to make ends meet. The average, everyday model who does this as a second job and doesn't get the credit they deserve or the recognition.
We are hoping this series of books will assist models in getting the recognition they deserve, maybe aquire them a fan base that could possibly increase the amount of work they get or even possibly, catch the eye of that 1 art director, creative director or big name agency to move the model to the full time working (and actually earning a decent living) model so many dream of becoming.
